An ode to my Constants

How much time does it take to build a connection?
How many friends can you make in a year??
Of them, how many stick with you in good times and bad?
And how many can count upon you..when they look back?
In this world full of competition, when you are surrounded by colleagues
It's a rare phenomenon to meet someone..who is there whenever you need.
They might not text you everyday..
They might not poke you annoyingly..
They might appear cold occassionally
Might also ghost upon you surprisingly.
But they keep a track of what you do
Without Letting you know everyday
That they care for you and your well being
Coz those are friends who are meant to stay.
